Thank you for taking the time to read our news letter. I believe that instilling healthy, beneficial, life long values in our children will help the brighten their future. My Menu with Food For Thought provides nutritious choices for your students. Beginning with the small step of changing their school lunches, they will begin to feel more energized and awake than before. Together, with your help, we will be able to ensure their generation stays clear of the growing obesity rate.

My meal plan is completely nutritious, lacking most unhealthy preservatives and it is home cooked. Each lunch has a vegetarian option as well as a vegetable platter. The meals are low in calories and high in protein, fiber, and other valuable nutrients and vitamins. Each lunch is filling and perfect for sustaining the students throughout the rest of their school day. In addition, each would be thoroughly enjoyed and are made with only the most natural and low-sugar/fat ingredients.

My lunch menu is better then the current lunch menu because the current lunch menu gives the kids an option between eating healthy and eating tasty. Mine does not. They eat what it gives them, healthy food, with snack meals once a week. Snacks are healthy, Meals are healthy, drinks are healthy, everything is healthy. And the friday lunch gives the students a reason to want to buy lunch on Fridays. You will have happy healthy students and happy parents who are secure in the knowledge that their children are eating healthy.

My food plan will be good for the school because it has healthier options than the regular menu. The sauces are sodium- reduced and there are many vegetables. I have a diverse range of foods which makes for a healthy, different menu. -Alex Dalasio
